A New Tee

I know... it's sad when the topic of one's blog is her newest T-shirt, but I just have to tell you about it. I love it. I really do. I bought it for St. Patty's Day, which is right around the corner. I wouldn't normally think of buying clothing for that "holiday"; however, my neighbor throws an awesome party every year. So this year I want to be prepared (... especially since my St. Patrick's bracelet that I received at the party two years back was stolen from my home).

The Place: Old Navy
The Price: $15 (I probably wouldn't have bought it at that price, but I had in my head it was $8 until I at the register ready to pay... and already in love with it.)
The Color: "Greenport"... a basic primary green (which I learned is a surprisingly nice color for me!)
The further description (from Old Navy's website)...

Irish eyes are sure to smile when you wear this flirty tee. Made of soft cotton, it features a rib-knit crew neck, cute cap sleeves and a special nod to St. Patty's Day.
Greenport: shamrock graphic composed of hearts, stars, and flowers

Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of mine, but here's one of a similar vein, except Basil green and different graphic... (I might have bought this one, only I'm not Irish.)

Correction -- you are a lot Irish. Your ancesters were Fitzgeralds and Johnstons, both very Irish on my side of the family. Love you, Mom
