Well... it seems I have a lot to blog about.
First, a non-personal comment. I caught a clip of 20/20 tonight, and they were interviewing this young kid who has been producing videos on-line. I thought it was fascinating for some reason. I think I'm just impressed (maybe even a bit scared) at the power of the internet.
I've returned safely from my ski escape to Colorado. I have a few impressive bruises, but I wouldn't trade a one of them. :) I'm just disappointed the trip is over and I'm back to life as usual.
I have learned a few things, though...
1) Though some can do it, I am not able to sit/lay down on the back of my skis and then stand up again. I tried numerous times, but I could barely even keep from crashing... much less get back up.
2) I'm glad I don't have kids. :) Don't get me wrong, children can be adorable... and I enjoyed getting to play with Seth in the evenings on our trip. But... when they're unhappy, they're unhappy. To complicate matters, they don't seem to have an off switch.
3) I'm apparently a "light blue."
4) It was brought to my attention that I say "either way" all the time. And, it seems to true. It was pointed out to me repeatedly on this trip.
5) My niece, Avery, got her first tooth. Erin was kind enough to call me and let me know!
So, it was an educational trip, too!
I enjoyed all the slopes, but the last day, we went up on top of the mountain and had about a 315-degree panoramic view of the mountains. It was an amazing site! I'm always impressed at God's creativity in creation! I'll try to post a picture or two for you! I was just fortunate enough not to be blown off the top of the mountain. :)
Okay... more blogging to come. If not tonight, then soon!

Yes, parenthood is not for the faint of heart. But I wouldn't trade it for a minute.
