A nice change this evening. A friend called late in the day and had tickets to a Randy Travis concert tonight. (Practicing the advice given by Chelle in the last post.) I'm not a huge fan, though I know a good number of his songs. But, it was nice to get out of the house for an evening. I enjoyed two songs the most... "Forever and Ever, Amen" and "If I Didn't Have You."
It's also reminded me of a song I used to love by George Strait... "What Do You Say to That?" I just downloaded it from itunes and have it on permanent repeat. :)

That's kinda funny, because first I wrote "Would you like to go to a concert?" But I changed it because you can't just reschedule the concert for another night. Also funny, just a couple of nights ago I was watching concert Mom and Dad had recorded off CMT of Randy Travis and Josh Turner. I really like Josh Turner's voice, deep and mellow...
See, who needs the stinkin' Tulsa State Fair anyway? And, when I say "stinkin," I use that term literally.
