Game #1: 130
Game #2: 94
It's been said that the absence of a Y-chromosome is supposed to give a human being the willingness to allow the opposite sex to win at any game or competition. I don't believe I have that trait. Now, granted, you probably wonder if I don't given my poor bowling scores above; however, I was playing with four guys. I had the high score in Game #1, and only one person scored a higher score (135) in Game #2.
I used to play chess with a guy-friend of mine in college. I beat him in our first three games. I thought he was kidding when he was pouting on the couch after his third defeat, but I came to realize he was not kidding. He was crushed. So, I did the unthinkable... I threw the next game... lost on purpose. Well, I could never get it back. I probably lost the next 30 games we played, despite my every effort to win. I always thought that was my penance for throwing game four.
So, I don't think I've thrown a game since. Sorry boys! :) But the way I look at it... who wants their ego boosted artificially?

i do.
Me too. I thrive on artificial ego boosting. Real ego boosting is good too ... but, when the real is unavailable, the artificial variety will do just fine.
