Alone

What is it that makes us feel weak and pathetic when we admit our loneliness? God himself said that "it is not good for man to be alone." If God said it isn't good, shouldn't that legitimize our desire for companionship?

I agree and understand. Admitting you are lonely seems so hard and so frowned-on, but that might be the very thing you have to do to find company. There have been several times when I've wished for the situation Donald Miller was in, when his pastor said he didn't want him to live alone and pushed him in the direction of people in the church who could use roommates. ... Sometimes it seems like even your closest friends are miles away and living in their own bubbles. Maybe part of it is Satan attacking.
