Busted!

It's late, and I should really be in bed; however, I need to catch you up on a few things...

1) Theresa and I swept leaves off the roof on Friday night. It was rather enjoyable, actually. It was unseasonably warm, and so we sat up there and chatted for awhile after we were done with our chore.

2) News Channel 8 showed up on my doorstep Friday night. They told me that the Tulsa PD had busted a house over in Sand Springs. Among other stolen property, my checkbook surfaced! They wanted to interview me for the 10 o'clock news! Not only did they come in and interview me about it all, they lead the news with the "exclusive" story and a live shot in front of my house! How crazy! They said it could take awhile for us to hear about or get any of our stuff back, but I'm hoping it won't be too long. I'm anxious to see what they've recovered!

3) We had The Gathering Christmas Party at my house last night. It was great fun... lots of people, lots of good food, a great way to celebrate the season. Now I feel like I'm home-free for Christmas. I have work and a concert this week, but that's about it!

4) Other interesting things may be afoot, but I can't be sure.
