Why is it I can think of all kinds of interesting things to write about when I'm laying in bed at night... or in the middle of something during the day. When it comes to sitting down at my computer, all topics of interest fly out of my head... leaving me with nothing interesting to write.
So... I could tell you about the weekend. It was fairly busy; however, there's nothing too noteworthy.
But... tomorrow night... I have a vocal audition. I guess that's worth writing about. I'm going to audition for the Tulsa Oratorio Chorus. I've wanted to join it every since I moved to Tulsa, but I've either been too busy or have chickened out when the auditions near. Last week, a friend (Babs) emailed me to see if I would be auditioning. So... we're both going to audition tomorrow night. I'm going to sing "Caro mio ben." It's been forever since I've had to sing like that. I'm quite out of practice. But, I'm hoping it will be enough to convince the director that I'm worthy of singing in the choir.
You might say a prayer for me, if you think of it! :)

Good Luck! I miss singing "choir style" sometimes, too ... something about that multiple part harmony sung in the 'correct' way that just sticks with you! Hope everything works out, and if nothing else, you enjoy the audition!
