I Love Disco

Well, it appears I'm the last blogger standing. I was disappointed to realize it's been so long since my last blog; however, I've noticed that no one in my entire family has blogged more recently that me. :) Oh well, I shall press on, afterall tomorrow is another day.

The subject title is strangely true. I guess you could say I was a child of the seventies, but that only means I WAS child during (a portion of) the seventies. But... I still have an odd fascination with disco and seventies music. In fact right now (at a time I should be in bed) I'm blogging to the disco version of Beethoven's Fifth (the one used in the movie "Saturday Night Fever").

Since I last blogged I've been sick. I originally thought it was a throat infection, because I seem to get those at least once a year. However, after all is said and done I think it must have been the flu. In fact... all is not said and done. I'm still not 100%. I'm feeling much better (nearly three weeks later), but I still don't have a full voice, and I'm still coughing and hacking a bit. I hate being sick.

Today I went with some friends to see the Azaleas in Muskogee, OK. They were very pretty, though many of the azalea bushes hadn't bloomed. They looked on the very verge of blooming - like they were ready to pop open at any moment. So, unfortunately we didn't catch them at their prime. But... the azaleas here at Tulsa's very own Woodpark are also lovely. So, hopefully I can catch them in the next week or so. They're really breathtaking.

Well, I suppose I should hit the sack. G'night... whoever might happen to be reading. :)
